ਧੂਪ ਘਰ on 2nd ave by Amira Chandni Dhanoa
Hand-built ceramic vessel, adorned with heirloom anklets
The piece is around 3-4 inches in length and 1 inch wide, the size of Amira's grandpa's palm. The vessel can hold whatever you wish, but was built with an original intention of allowing the essences of incense to flow unbounded/unrestricted throughout its structure, while the incense is situated within the anklet lattice suspension.
Amira (She/they) is a Punjabi American artist involved with a mix of mediums ~ but has recently started exploring her lineage, pull to tide pools and mental health ebbs n flows through multimedia sculpture. Based in NYC at the moment.
